Here's to Sam and The Hub

Here's what you'll find...

"...The Hub - a contemporary version of the traditional English café. The venue on King Street - formerly known as Newmu - has opened after a year-long break for refurbishment.

The café now has a new chef, (Sam) new kitchen and menu but the philosophy of creativity and quality still remain.

The menu features fresh, simple dishes made with seasonal ingredients sourced where possible from local suppliers.

Breakfast, elevenses, lunch and appetizers are served during the day and the café opens later in the evening for a drink or meal after work.

The Hub also has an integral gallery - the New Museum of Contemporary Art showcasing international art and design.

Take a break here during your working day to eat outstanding food, network with local businesses, see colleagues or friends, hold an informal meeting, read the papers - or simply find creative inspiration....."

I have sold 10 pieces of work from the solo exhibition at The Hub Cafe/Gallery and "New Museum of Contemporary Art" in Norwich!

Aside from the art, I highly recommend you nip along and sample the amazing foods there are on offer in the relaxing and beautifully designed space.

Times Up

Here is the original little story of how the name of my creative business came about, over
14 years ago.

I now work in a rather lovely, but slightly damp, blue
shed in my garden, between the chickens, cherry tree
and veg plot.

The very beginning: The First Post

I was asked to create a place for those interested to be able to access eclectic and possibly provocative Pikarsky art works old and new. So this is going out to just a special few!

I won't be visiting you here too often... just hope to simply keep you occasionally amused and informed about this and that, probably in a rather bloggy-pretentious way...
