Creative opportunities in and around Norwich...

Allow me to pass on some info that may be useful (and happens to have a "personal touch"!)
and I can fully recommend both creative activities!

Collaborative Creativity Club
@ Platform 12, St Benedict's Street, Norwich.  Art in Shotesham

"The – an open platform night for visual artists, musicians, singers and re-mixers. A free night to jam, mingle or just enjoy the spectacle. The first Wednesday of the month. From 8 until late."

Maddy Pikarsky - Visual Artist
"International Art coach and Visual Artist Maddy Pikarsky is a great supporter of the Club and all round wonderful person.
Famed for her "drawing and don't ask why" blog. Maddy devised the "Visual Art Jam" concept in collaboration with Nigel Orme for the FWC and can be often seen drawing board in hand with other visual Art collaborators at the Club."
Cliff Andrews
Cliff organises the running order of the Club nights and acts as MC.

..and following on from the Workshops in December 2015:

Art Group
Art in Shotesham

"In the coming year the activities of the group will be extended to provide two sessions each week from Jan. 11th through to Easter.
The life-drawing morning will continue every Thursday from Jan.14th but in addition a more general class will be open on Mondays at 10 am..
This second group will have teaching expertise from Maddy Pikarsky who taught the beginners course recently.
Maddy will be able to guide the activities of the class and give advice and support to those in need. The work of the class will be varied but with emphasis on drawing as a baseline, however work in all media is possible and desirable! Previous experience is not necessary and nervous beginners will be more than welcome.
A weekly payment will be required to support hall hire and teaching and we will look for a contribution of £5 for sessions with teaching provided but on the weeks when Maddy is not available then £2 should suffice. Although the class will be ‘open’. please let me know if you are keen to attend and I can then provide more information nearer the date."
